Ringtone help

i have been using Ringtone Chop Shop to make ringtones to send to my verizon phone and it works like a charm; however, whenever i turn off the cellphone and turn it back on the ringtones that i sent to my phone are just quiet nothing ness. It just sounds like a stereo that is on with no sound going through it. I have to save another sound file inorder to hear it but that takes up space. How do i fix this?
