storm on cricket

Anyone using the storm on crickets network. Im thinking about switching to them or sprint. 88$ is to much for phone service and i can get what I need for 50$ on cricket or 69$ on sprint. Let me know if your storm is working on cricket.

no, the storm is a verizon exclusive because they (along with vodafone) paid blackberry to develop the phone. ergo, they are the only two carriers with that phone. just like the iphone is an at&t exclusive.

maybe if you unlock the storm some how you might be able to get Cricket to activate service on it. But if you start using cricket beware leaving the city limits because their service is extremely limited. I live 20 minutes from the city and people with cricket cant make calls from my house.

Cricket operates on AWS freq's (2100 mhz) in many markets, so even if you could unlock it you could not get it to work in all markets. The storm can only work on Cellular and PCS bands for CDMA.
