Upcoming US Cellular Phones??????????????

Anyone know when US Cellular will be coming out with more new phones??? And possibly what kinds???? My contract is up and I need a new one, but do not like any of their current phones.

I would like to know too. I don't like their current phones. I want the newer blackberry bold or something. The phones just suck with US cellular.

US Cellular is coming out with an LG with full keyboard(not sure what model), a samsung with music player(also not sure what model), and the new blackberry flip phone. I got word from a friend that works for US Cellular. They should all be out in the next month or two.

USC put me on a waiting list for the HTC Touch Pro and told me it would be out late March or early April.

Samsung Gloss(TM) (formerly U440) - This device is a messaging centric clamshell phone with dedicated Messaging and Calendar keys. Also featuring a full QWERTY keyboard, 1.3 megapixel camera, Music Player, and is Stereo Bluetooth capable. It will be launching in two different colors: Charcoal and White. This device is targeted to launch in early May.

Samsung R311 - This is a compact entry level clamshell device, featuring: one-touch speakerphone,VGA Camera, and Bluetooth capability. This device is targeted to launch in mid May.

LG Banter(TM) (formerly UX265) - This device is a messaging centric slider phone with changeable faceplates. Also featuring a full QWERTY keyboard, 1.3 megapixel camera, Music Player, and is Stereo Bluetooth capable. This device is scheduled to launch April 9th.

LG UX840 - This device is a Touch screen with slider QWERTY keypad. Featuring a large 3" QVGA touch-screen with an integrated full HTML browser, music player, stereo Bluetooth capability and a 3.0 megapixel camera. This is a premium device, which includes: Browser, E-Mail and Your Navigator. This device is targeted to launch in mid June.

HTC Touch Pro (PCD) - This device is a Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional Smartphone with a full Touch Screen display and slide out full QWERTY keyboard. It also features Vibrant TouchFLO™ 3D user interface, MMS, Stereo Bluetooth, WIFI enabled and 3.2 megapixel Camera with video recorder. This device is scheduled to launch on April 17th.

BlackBerry 8230 Pearl Flip- This device is Clamshell version of the Blackberry Pearl. Featuring stereo Bluetooth, 2.0 megapixel camera and removable memory slot. This device is targeted to launch in early mid June.

is the LG UX840 like the LG Prada? thats kinda what it sounds like. i cant find the 840 anywhere online. also, will the LG UX840 be a smartphone? cause if it is, that means we will have to buy internet data plan which is like $25/month.

No the LG 840 will not be "smartphone" but it will require a premium internet package that runs 19.95/mo but the benefits way outwheigh the cost!!! I have the Samsung Delve now and I love love love the browser and full html options and I dont have to pay out the yang like with competitors!!

Are you sure there will be a $20 monthly fee for the LG ux840. Someone told me they don't know yet if they'll add it. I hope not.

yes, you will have to have the 19.95 package and it includes unlimited easyedge access, subscription to yournavigator and a full html browser.

Hey is the lg 840 like the iphone, can you buy apps for it. Or is it just like the lg 830, if it isn't what is the difference????? Oh and how much will it cost for the phone?????

It is not like the 830, thank god! It has a full keypad that flips out as well as a touch screen. It is about the same size as the htc touch pro. It will have apps you can purchase off the data package but not sure what the Iphone is like.

Is there a web site or something I can go on to see the LG ux840. I don't if I should stay with U.S. Cellular or not. If it's not like all that I'll just switch over to AT&T to get the new iPhone.
