Question Calls to a co-worker/friend that are unanswered default back to callers voice mail???

My son has a Motorola V551. He uses his voice mail also. His co-worker/friend had a problem with his cell phone, got a new one and had it reset. He doesn't use his voice mail and as far as we know it has NOT been forwarded to my sons voice mail. When my son called the friend, phone rang 6 or 7 times and then MY SON"S voice mail picked it up. My son tried calling the friend on a pay phone and the same thing happened. What might cause this. I need suggestions, please.

Crazylady,

Try the Customer Care, really

Or check IF the phone his co-worker/friend has been forwarded, as you've already noted ...

Seen this in TX. The person that he was calling is likely roaming. Issue with the roaming carrier.
