Verizon Wireless?

I just got a LG5200 cell phone. With a verizon wireless plan. And I was
wondering if I can buy a RAZR V3c on ebay.And deactivate my Lg5200,
and activate the RAZR V3c.

Yes. However you have to make sure the ravor is CDMA or else you can not activate it on verizon.

verizon works off of cdma? is this almost the samething as GSM?

far from it, Verizon is a CDMA/EV-DO based network (as is sprint) where GSM uses SIM cards

GSM is services like Cingular, AT&T and T-Mobile

Hey Cynical -- have you seen a release date on the Silver 3450 (the one suppose to have Chaperone tracking capability)? I've got an elderly parent who's in need of a phone upgrade and having the ability to track is, well, attractive. She's totally agreable to it also. Are there any other handsets on the horizon other than the MIGO that'll allow tracking?
Anything on Verizon's table similar to Samsung's Jitterbug??

No, there isnt a release date for the new lg yet. They have some new phones that can be tracked, but I'm not allowed to say anything about them yet, sorry...
