Turn off 3G on K608i
Hi
I have a Sony-Ericcson K608i phone on the 3 network. The problem is though I am on the edge of a 3G cell so the reception is very poor when on the 3G network. However when I select the 2G network on the ohone through the network settings my reception is excellent.
Ths problem is that the phone returns back to 3G after a minute or two. I'm unable to make it lock onto the 2G so it always returns to 3G reception which is shit.
Can anyone help me? I have rang the 3 network and they told me that all their phones are programmed to return to the 3G network and that they can't change it as they are a 3G network.
Surely someone must know how to change this back?? Any help would be greatly appreciated as the phone is not much use to me as it is.
