have found Audiovox CDM-8920

Hi, I have found this cellulaire and I wonder if I can activate it at my name. It's with telus and they told me to verify if the cellulaire is declared stolen with the serial number. If not, it could be activate without problem. But the problem is that I don't know how to make this check.
