Why would I buy this? HTC Touch Cruise

For my work I have been supplied (4 months ago) with an HTC Touch Cruise. G3, GPS, Exchange mail all wonderful stuff I'm sure for the busy, image conscious, go-getter, but the most important function is sadly lacking... it's the crappiest mobile phone I have ever used! Once you've finished playing with the 'Oh how I'm almost an iPhone' interface (which it certainly is not) it becomes a real drag forever having to redial the caller because it just dropped the signal. I managed to send myself 26 text messages during one phone call. Frequently I have to exit the alarm settings page, which has been activated during a call. It sucks and I hate the damn thing, I'm only glad I didn't shell out my readies for it.
Actually it's not just me, we must have bought over a dozen HTC phones it the company and nobody is happy with them. Be warned.
