Arrow s710a network

Hi, i just pursue a s710 sony ericson from u.s & when i go to Bangladesh then i can't find any suitable network as this set is 850/1800/1900 gsm.can i change the band to 900 anyhow?all of Banladeshi cell company use 900.please post a reply if anyone can help.

s710a frequency band

Unfortunatly not. Since the frequency depends soley on the hardware, there is no way to change or add to the frequency range of a cell phone.

Yep, jamrbutl is right. 850 and 1900 frequencies are mainly used in the US. 900 and 1800 Mhz are used in the rest of the world. You should have bought a phone that supports 900/1800/1900 Mhz not 850/1800/1900.
