Question Same deal, different carrier

I had another tentative customer come in today with AT&T who wants to get out of his contract without paying the $200. He gets absolutely NO service at his house, is that enough to go on? Understand that I gave him the same sermon as the last one, "You signed a contract, they're allowed to penalize you, blah blah blah" but he is still adamant on trying.

Is lack of service enough to save him?

he would have to show a copy of his lease and a utility bill. once the area is confirmed no coverage, a cancellation can be done without ETF
