Exclamation car-kit mode

could anyone please tell us how to use this feature. The 8 month old baby was chewing on the phone and now this feature is activated... Apparently the phone is adult proof because we cannot figure out to turn it off! Any help would be much appreciated!

I used a dry tooth brush to clean the data port at the bottom of the phone.
This fixed the car kit problem

yeah, drool or another conductible substance gets into the data port area and activates it

take the battery out, and clean the port out (located on the bottom of the phone)

I've fixed my moms for my little brother doing the same thing

Car Kit Mode

I used an air can instead of a brush and it resolved the problem.

Smile A mother

Obviously, the person insulting others is not a parent. I do not think any parent GIVES their toddler their cell phone to drool on, however it happens. I bought a new cheap toothbrush and cleaned the bottom out once it was dry and it fixed the problem immediately. Thanks for the suggestion!

carkit

I wouldnt worry too much about the insulting person. he or she identifies themselves well and sadly self projects. I have owned about ten mobile phones none of which have had this ridiculous problem. one brick phone I dropped in hot tubs literally 5 times and it didnt die until the 5th. I dont understand why people talk up LG equipment I have had nothing but trouble with their products

I placed a hair dryer on mine for a minute then turned it on and it works fine.

Verizon acted like there was no hope for me. bitches. They said it was because i dropped it too much. thing was i was just making a call with it in my hand and it went on car kit mode. No water, no impact. whatever, sovled.

let me be more clear, because I couldve used more clairity on this. I fixed mine by turning it off. Placing a hair dryer 5 inches away blowing into the power/data port for 30 secs, flipped the phone over for another 30 secs.

I hope that helps somebody.
