LG L5100 ... how do i do ... ? all wierd

hi i have an LG L5100 (t.mobile version)
and here is my question :

how do i set the external display ?
whenever i flip the clam my external display shows me the clock only for 2-3 seconds and then disappear (he shuts down showing none).
why ? i cannot find the setup for this issue.

any ideeas?

I think there is no setup for this, you can't change it
