how to activate my nokia 6340i

my nokia 6340i is lock to cingular.. i would like to use it in the philippines with new network provider here in the philippines like SMART, GLOBE OR SUN CELLULAR. when i tried to unlock it, i can already read SMART, GLOBE AND SUN CELLULAR but it has no signal recieved.. i cant send text message and cant make a call.. can i used my nokia 6340i here in the philippines or is nokia 6340i capable in operating here in the philippines..? if yes, can you help me how to activate my phone here in the philppines with the network provider in philippines? pls.. help.. thanks

6340i runs on GSM 850/1900, so if your current provider operates in either 900 or 1800 MHz bands, you won't be able to use 6340 ...

I don't believe your provider will run in 3 bands at the same time ... I guess it works in 900/1800.

But if it really works in 1900, I guess you would be able to use the phone IN AREAS, that are 1900 ! only, not in the whole area .... Of course you must get it unlocked first, but you told you've already got it

is the IMEI has the factor in not receiving a signal in my phone?.. coz mostly IMEI phone here starts at 3 & 4.. and my IMEI starts at 0..
