LG Ux310 Motorola Crush Motorola W835

okay these are upcoming phones from us cellular that i am interested in for my mom. she gets a new phone in sept and there is none she likes except for the axle and neo e1100. anyways what will these phones be like. i think the ux310 will be a replacement of the crap ux300 and the W845 might be a replacement of the W385 (i hope it's like the W755)

phones

I work for US Cellular and honestly the neo is not the greatest phone in the world. It is so different from like an lg or even samsung. And the axle you might have trouble with becasue samsung does not carry a very good internal antena. So if i were here i would keep with motorola or LG.

I work for US Celluar also...Stay away from Samsung and Kyocera. I had a horrible experience with the Delve. I've always like LG myself and carrying a Motorola Hint now. I think the Motorola 385 is a great phone for those who just use it for basic calling and texting. Really sad to see the Lg 300 go.

I also work for US Cellular. the LG 310, also known as the Helix is an entry level clamshell device, featuring a 1.3 meg camera bluetooth and all the other basic functions. While the Crush is a full touch screen device with a 2 meg camera with digital zoom but it won be out till november. the Helix will be out the 6th of October. She may not want a full touch screen. But i would stay away from samsung also. the ringers are shit. and i have a crap load of them on 30 day swap to sell.

WOW Really?!?!?! You say you work for U.S. Cellular but yet you are doing things that are so not the D.O. I hope you can sleep at night knowing that YOU are the people who make it harder for the rest of us to do our jobs!

Thumbs down

I wish the company would trace to IP addresses of people who leak "Proprietary" info onto forums such as these. Maybe this would shut down some of these folks once and for all. It's things like this that make it so hard for us to do our job and compete with the larger companies. The about tools probably work for an agent location and don't really know what it's like to actually "help" a customer without wondering if their getting commision. If you wanna act like a reject, go work for Sprint, they could certainly use you! It's gets tiring fixing other peoples mistakes day in and day out. Good riddence, may you swiftly find the unemployment line...

Don't get upset because they told the truth. USCellular should have a better selection of motorola, etc. phones so they can compete!!

Agreed but however

I agree with the previous poster that US Cellular should get more phones to compete with. With the people who don't like the delve I had mine for a long time and loved the phone. It was fun to use and worked perfectly. I did have to switch to a Q9C for work due to needing active sync with our exchange server.

I do work for an agent location and love every minute of it. The only reason we would ever send a customer to a corp store is for tech support. But of course when our customers go there they end up pissed off and come complain to us because you guys dont treat them like you should. Im not saying all agents are the greatest, believe me I know. Half of the agent stores we have are from worthless agents that got there store taken from them. And I only leak "Proprietary" information because customers shouldnt be stuck getting a phone just because its there and be stuck with it for 18 months. So yes if being a bad agent is to make the customer happy then I guess I work for a bad agent.

as far as phone recomendations motorola and LG have been good phones overall the new helix looks to have some promise for us.

I've worked both corporate (4 1/2 yrs) and agent a year and working on the corporate side you think man agents do nothing but cause problems then i started the agent side and realized the customer will bitch just to bitch and i hear all day how this or that store doesn't give service. The fact is we are all in this together corporate and agent and need to make sure customer receieve the same service everywhere they go.

I don't see any proprietary information being exposed in this thread?

I just recently switched from AT&T to US Cellular and I was very pleased with the customer service experience at my local Agent. I got a Family plan with 3 LG Helix and so far everything is working great. I went back to my local Agent to purchase a data cable for the Helix. He handed me a box with cable and told me to take it with me to try and then come back the next day to either pay for it or return it. I thought that was very nice and probably something he did not have to do.

US Cellular

I've been a customer for a few years for pretty much the same reason and everyone else, free incoming calls, good service, etc but also I am very hard on phones. At one point and time I had to go to tech services 2 a week and if they couldn't fix the phone I was replaced either by a new one or I purchased a return instead of haveing to pay full price for a phone like I would have to with other companies. As far as the agents leaking "Proprietary" information, how do you think I choose the phones I do. I talk to the guys that test them when they come out to find out how well they work and if they can with stand some abuse.

I work for an agent location

I work for a agent location and have any where between 5 to 10 people a day come in to my store with complaints about the retail store. We constantly have to fix their mistakes which takes time out of our busy schedule. I quess there is a difference though retail dosn't give a shit about customers all the care about is making the sale. I am proud to say I have reqular customers that
come into my store just to chat with us at times. We take very good care of our customers and I quess thats why retail likes posting there crap on here. I know most of my customers by name wonder if retail knows any of there cust by name doubt it. We give our customers 100% not 1% so before you go running your mouth about agent stores you reject look at your self and ask your self if you give your customers 100%. I know you dont because if your were I would'nt have
to fix your problems all the time. Retail is just jealous of the agent locations because they know that we do a way better job then they do and treat our customers like human beings.
