My ideal cell phone for AT&T would be:

- A full qwty keyboard that is NOT a Smartphone device
- 2.0 mp camera with FLASH
- Touch Screen (optional)
- Slider
- Buttons light up in the dark

Pretty simple. But AT&T phones that have full qwty keyboards are almost always smartphones and my mom doesn't like paying the $30 a month lol. AT&T has a few full qwty keyboard phones that arent smartphones but they arent to appealing for my eyes lol.

I would love something similar to the G1, but smaller, better camera, much better battery, and smaller size

Talking I just want a flip with a qwerty.

Seems like every carrier on the planet has at least ONE flip-style phone that also has a qwerty keyboard... Every carrier except AT&T. I'm kind of frustrated waiting for them to offer one!

AT&T has lots of slider qwerty phones... and candy bar qwerty phones... would it be too much to ask for a clamshell phone with a qwerty?

Maybe they're scared of them. Maybe a flip-qwerty phone locked an executive from AT&T into a closet as a child.

A Phone With Great Reception

I'm sure I am in the minority, but all I want is a PHONE with great reception. Personally I hate using phones, as they remind me of days in the office where a phone call was someone telling me how they thought I should do my job!

Seriously, I am not interested in a camera, texting, GPS, web browsing, or anything else. I live in the Detroit suburbs, and my current LG CU400 phone gets lowsy reception on AT&T. About 50% of my calls at home are dropped. I go from 4 bars to a dropped call in seconds. Can't someone make a phone with a super antenna so the phone gets great reception???

iphone flip, I'd like to have an iphone but it's just a little to big for me, if they came out with an iphone nano I'd probably buy it but I like flip phones the best, I never really consider buying any other type phone.

plus if Apple comes out with the iphone flip maybe everybody else would start making more flip phones.
