Nokia E51 - Alternatives?

I'm upgrading in a few weeks time from my current 6233. After a fair amount of research the E51 is my favoured option but I would appreciate anyone's opinion on alternatives I may wish to consider.

HP514 is a good alternative if you prefer windows mobile:). E51 is a good choice :).

HP514 is good but has lower specs than the E51 ;). hp-200MHZ, 65k colors ,1.3 cam.
The closest competitor is the E65 slider and probably E61i.

Probably N81 but it is a bit more pricey. But you can get the version with 8Gb of internal storage which makes it quite good music and media device. Bigger screen, N-gage platform, gaming keys. I guess it all depends on what are you planning to use it for

I need a good all rounder really. The 2meg camera on my 6233 is ok for my requirements so I guess the one on the E51 will be similar. I like the slimness (11mm) of the E51 which others with a similar spec can't match. Staying with a Nokia would be easier because I use the pc synchronisation stuff and back up etc. The only fault that crops up in reviews is the lack of a front facing camera for video calling but this is not something I do or see myself wanting to do in the foreseeable future. Being able to use it with a 4gb card will be an advantage from a music storage point of view. The email and web on the E51should be fine and don't appear to be any better on the alternatives. To be fair, I'd pretty much decided which phone I was going to get anyway. Maybe I just needed confirmation I hadn't picked a lemon!

Well your confirmation has arrived :). As far as i know E51 can't be beaten in its price range. It is a good, solid phone (it is a nokia :D). You just can't go wrong with it. And yes it has no issues as far as i know.

Thumbs Uppp Fro e51 :D. The closest one is the E65 but it is still not as fast (slower cpu). Go for it you will be happy.
