Mp3 Player Or Not?

There is a phone coming out for verizon. It is called the HTC VIVIDA. I looked up on it, and in the multimedia section it said "Protocols:MP3". Does that mean that it is an MP3 Player? I NEED AN ANSWER!!!!!!
