CDMA is pretty inconvenient to switch phones due to the lack of a SIM card. There are more GSM operators then CDMA opertators so it would make sense to focus the new phones for GSM and make a CDMA model later. =)

Well this is so true. Currently 90% of the phones around the globe are GSM. So the users of that kind of network will never see such wide variety of phones that we the GSM users enjoy. There is a saying ;) "If you can't beat them, join them".

yep CDMA users are fckd. I believe the CDMA market share is even lower than 10%. If it was that much there would have been more phones :).

Yeah nokia is really committed to AT&T now.. theyre releasing like 5 new phones for at&t in the next 6-8 months. 3 of which have a sort of Sidekick feel to them... meaning theyre sliding, or flip up QWERTY keyboards. Nokias gonna be big... only with At&t tho... sorry verizon and sprint.

t-mobile is also getting some nice nokia's. Btw don't expect to have the same variety of phones on a cdma network. It just won't happen.

I have been waiting for AT&T to release the latest Nokia phones but it seems they have tied their fate to the iPhone, and they are not considering any phone that would divert customers away from the iPhone. Anyone has any idea when AT&T is going to release the Nokia N or E series.
