I am moving from a Nokia 6620, with a very nice Contacts and ToDo app to an LG VX8100. The reason is that my Nokia on Cingular has crappy coverage in a lot of areas I go, and slow data speeds (even with EDGE).

I noticed the LG VX8100's contacts app only does phone numbers. Are there 3rd party contact apps that I can get for this phone that would include addresses, info, etc.? What about a ToDo list (to sync with MS Outlook).

Speaking of sync'ing with Outlook, are there any good, free options rather than buying DataPilot?

Finally, how about a decent email client that doesn't require me going to Verizon web and logging in each time?

These were all things that I enjoyed on the Nokia and will miss, but I'm sure there are ways to address these shortcomings on this phone.

I'd love to know what you discovered is the best way to Sync with Outlook and access email on your VX8100. You can email me at organizingandmore@yahoo.com.

Thanks.

I don't beleive you'll find nice 3rd party software in a not Symbian/Windows/Linux-based phone
