You can't. I tried buying a ringtone for my LG VX3300 phone and recieved a text message saying to visit the get it now feature. The 3300 doesn't have the get it now feature, so I just ended up wasting $1.99. I read somewhere that if you say you have a 3200, you can get tones, but I haven't tried it yet.

It is possible to get ringtones at www.vtext.com I've downloaded three, but I did have an issue with one not working right. It made mt Phone freeze and I had to take the battery out to restart it

How do I make my own ring tones for my VX3300? Do I need to make MIDI files, MP3 files, some goofy, proprietary, trade secret, dumbass format?

Once I make a ringtone (provided I can), how do I download it to my phone? Can I e-mail it to my phone as an attachment, or do I have to buy some overpriced USB cable and expensive software?

"Menu 4" takes me to a menu that has "sounds" and "pictures", including "my pictures". What format are these in: GIF, PNG, BMP, some goofy, proprietary, trade secret, dumbass format?

Once I've made a picture for my phone, how do I download it?

I'm still working on dling ringtones. But, for starters, you can go to tools(5) then voice memo(3) then hit left soft button for new and record whatever sound you want. When done recording, hit right soft button for option and go to set as. This allows you to set whatever you just recorded as the sound you hear when your phone rings.
