How to reinstall symbian OS?!

i have nokia n82 and i did something to the OS. the phone restarts all the time and from nokia support told me that i have to reinstall the OS, but i dont know how? can someone help me with that?

in order to format your symbian phone follow this steps:
1.turn off your phone
2. take out the SIM and Memory card
3. put your battery back into the phone
4.press and hold this combination of keys
*- asterix key
3- key
GREEN- key
on/off - key
hold for like 5 seconds and your phone should display something like


Formating....


and the screen will come black from the left to the right

Well you need to contact Nokia and tell them that you need to re-flash your phone or reformat or go to the nearest cell technician around your area and they will do it for you.
