Help! We're at witts end...There is a strange icon that appears at odd times right next to the date displayed on my sharp tm150 t-mobile phone. It's not in the manual and I can't find reference to what it is on the net.

What is it? What's it do? What's it for??? Why does it torment us so by appearing and disappearing?

It looks like an envelope but with two circles on either side of the chevron (or like the backside of a video tape with the two spindles. Any help tracking this little guy down will be appreciated greatly.

Is this when you send a message ?
If you have a digital camera it would be nice to shoot it when it displays on the screen and show it to us. Maybe someone will know what is means

Sounds like the voicemail icon (i know that sounds obvious.)
Another thing that looks similar is the icon that notes "ready to receive GPRS packets." If you are seeing that it is probably just letting you know you can access the GPRS network. Either way, its just an icon :)

you should either have a dedicated button on the phone (usually holding "1") or you must dial 123. I'm not sure if your minutes are used though :/.

This made me laugh in a very schoolgirl-ish way.

Which made my beard look un-manly
