I've only had a cell phone so far, but might like to get a pda or pda/phone. Do these devices work without wires, like a cell ph.? how about web surfing or email, how does it connect? Thanks for any explainations, Y.

(1)If you get and pda/phone (PDA with GSM module for example) you will connect through it to the internet using GPRS for example and will browse the net through the GSM connection of the device.
(2)If you buy a PDA without GSM receiver you will have to use another device - GSM (for example) phone with Bluetooth or infrared, to connect the phone to the PDA and use it as a connection to the internet.
In both (1) and (2) there are no wires
