Good Afternoon,

I have the Motorola Bluetooth Wireless Adapter - DC 600 (for non-bluetooth phones) and I am having problems making it work (i.e.- connecting my Motorola V262 to my Tungsten T3 PDA using it). Are you able to provide set up instructions?

Thanks very much for your time!

Syno,

We have never tested the DC 600, but have you tried to follow the instruction manual?

Unfortunately, there is no manual with it ...................

I bought this attachment just hoping (crossing my fingers) that I'd plug it in and my Tungsten T3 would pick it up and off I'd go ........

Not the case. Here's what I have seen thus far:

I plug the DC 600 adapter into my Motorola V262 and the blue lights begin to blink. When I try to connect with my Tungsten T3, here's what I get:

Starting discovery...
Discovery done. Getting names...
All names retreived.
1 devices were discoverd.
Motorola DC600
Connecting to first device.
RFCOMM connect failed!

So it seems that it is reading it but then .......nothing.

Any advice out there?

Cheers,

Mike

Are there any buttons on the DC600, so you could put it in "pairing mode" or something

Sorry, I haven't used it too.

edit
I tried to GOOGLE it and found that text in "Features" of the product at amazon.com

A simple button press on the adapter allows pairing with each Bluetooth device

You can try to search the manual online, too
