As you can see here (http://phonearena.com/htmls/details.php?id=777), VX-6100 is BREW enabled, so you can download BREW games and play them on the phone. Unfortunately, you can't play JAVA games, as the phone is not JAVA enabled.

I understand that the LG VX6100 uses brew 2.0 and not brew 1.1.
Now brew 1.1 has been long hacked and many games are available for it for free but version 2.0 has yet to be hacked so, therefore, free games are impossible to find.
Can the VX6100 also play version 1.1 games?

In order for a phone to be able to execute BREW applications/games, the BREW Application Execution Environment(AEE) must be installed on the phone (which is done by the phone's manufacturer). Phone which comes with AEE 2.0 (aka BREW 2.0) should be able to execute any software that is compiled with SDK 2.0 or below (1.1 for example).
So the answer is - if the VX6100 supports BREW 2.0, then if you take a game which is 1.1, it should run with no problems.
The problem is if you try to run a 2.0 application on a 1.1 phone - it may or may not work.
