It is going to be released for Verizon. I couldn't find any release info.
Here is some info.:
Release Date:
Q2 2005 <--- ?
Released for Verizon Wireless, the LG VX8100 incorporates all the breakthrough technologies of the VX8000 including high-speed EV-DO, megapixel camera, and video and music on-demand, but goes further with integrated Bluetooth capability for wireless connectivity, and a miniSD slot for external memory. MP3 audio player, dual speakers for stereo sound, and a 3D graphics engine make this a formidable handset in 2005
Also:
LG showed off its VX8100, successor to the VX8000 phone currently being sold by Verizon Wireless that works on the Code Division Multiple Access Evolution-Data Optimized network and has the ability to view on-demand video clips. The VX8100 phone has all the features of the VX8000 (including a 1.3-megapixel camera with a flash and a camcorder that can record up to 15 seconds of video) with the addition of Bluetooth connectivity and a mini-Secure Digital memory card slot for additional storage. Pricing and availability of the phones was not announced.

It looks so much cooler than the vx8000. And it has everything the vx8000 was missing.
I really want it. =)
