fusic media player skipping

hi all, i'm having a problem with the fusic's media player. i set the equalizer to rock, close the flip, and wait until the screen shuts off. as soon as i hit a volume key, or any key, to make the screen come back on, the equalizer goes back to the default setting. any way around this?
