Hi. I've been with Sprint for probably half my life now and I just don't know what to do here. I'm one of those people who likes phones that have the most features per square inch without being a brick. PDAs are nice. But they are PDAs before phones. I've seen some beautiful phones offered over at Cingular but the price on their internet is just a little too high. Does anybody out there know of a good phone I should buy? After seeing my friends trade ringtones on their Motorola V551's from Cingular, I simply can't deal without bluetooth. I'm very patient and don't mind waiting. However, I can't even find an announcement of a future phone coming to Sprint that offers bluetooth and mp3 playability in a clamshell design. I know there's a Sanyo 5300 coming out in weeks, maybe days. I know many Sprint users are posting on many boards how this phone is like the second coming. I don't want to bash these people or the phone. I would almost buy it. But, how could any of us justify paying $400 for a phone that doesn't even have Bluetooth like the Motorola V551 that my friends paid $149 for? Please help if any of you know of a good phone I can buy as my old Sanyo works great still but it's just so yesterday and I want to use the new features. Besides, my wireless internet is slow as molassis. :( What should I do? Thanks so much to anyone who can help.

Jrox,

I know how you feel. The only three Sprint phones with Bluetooth are (currently) - Palm treo 650
- Audivox xv-6600
- LG Lx325.

You mentioned clamshell device - well the LX325 is not, but is a slider so you still should be happy with it.

This high-end CDMA phone sports a sliding design, megapixel camera with video capture and flash, and streaming video playback. Other features include a miniSD memory card slot, MP3 player, stereo speakers, voice dialing, and speakerphone.
Might be more what your looking for :)

I'm the same way. I always get the newest phone out just because I like to have the most features I can. Bluetooth is something I want to have in my phone, but the Treo is too big and I did buy the LG325 with Bluetooth the first day it was out, but most of the bluetooth features have been disabled. It really sucks.

Anyway, I'm always online looking for the latest and greatest new phones. All around, the Motorola Razr V3 is the best phone on the market. It has EVERY feature I have ever wanted in a cell phone. Right now it's only available on Cingular, but Motorola has produced a CDMA phone that will be released overseas in the next couple months, and should be available on Sprint by the end of 2005. I know it's a long wait, but maybe Sprint will come out with something comparable before then.
