LG CU500 help

My CU500 is displaying an icon at the top of my phone near my bars. The icon looks like a set of blue headphones and. It comes and goes at its own will but while the icon is displayed my phone can make and recieve calls but I am not able to hear or speak with the other person. Also, it makesphone calls on its own to the last person I called.
Any help would be appreciated.

Very strange! I saw this to happen only when a bluetooth headset is pared with my phone ....

could some one close to u have a bluetooth headset paired with your phone
