Bitpim not regognizing my fusic

I downloaded the driver rebooted the PC, and I can upload/download mp3s nicely, but I cannot get bitpim to detect my phone. I have flash/usb on and the cable secured at both ends. Does anyone know anything about this?

run the phone wizard> make sure you select the correct 'port setting' (it may be trial and error)> you must 'pass' the detect phone test.

i like using bluetooth to transfer files to/from my mac . you can get a bluetooth usb adapter for 10 bucs shipped.

well, the answer to your problem is in the driver, there are actually 2 different drivers for the phone, one from sprint and one from lg, the driver u need for use with bitpim is the "sprint usb driver for modem use" do a search for it cause i don't remember where i got it
