I recently purchased a Motorola C155 from Tracfone. I am unable to get service at my home, but if I drive about a mile down the road, then I have service. Is there an antenna that I can get to help with obtaining service here at my home? I was told that until they upgrade the towers in this area, I would not have service in my town. Can someone offer any information they might have?

Thank you for directing me to the site with External Antenna Kits. I will decide which one would work best and buy it.

If you buy an external antenna, pls post your opinion when you test it. I am curious if they are effective.
Thanks

My Motorola C155 has TERRIBLE reception, and when I called Tracfone support, the guy looked up my coordinates on his map and said, "You should have a signal there." Duh! If you pop off the rubber plug on the upper back side, you'll see a little black hole underneath. I took an old coaxial cable (like for your TV) with a pretty narrow wire inside and cut off the connector end. The wire is the right width to fit into the hole, and it boosted my reception at home from "No Signal" to ".:" (that's sopposed to look like two bars).
