I think the A707 is better. It has bigger screen with more colors than CU500; the Bluetooth is version 2.0 and supports more profiles than CU500's bluetooth; A707 has a 2 megapixel camera, CU500 has 1.3 megapixel; A707 has 50MB internal memory, CU500 has only 16MB;
I think CU500 is available from July 2006 and A707 from November 2006
