Motorola V3 Razr Mobile Phone tools Sync hell!

Hey there, anybody have any problems getting mobile phone tools (inbox software with v3 razr) to recognize the v3 phone? I am using win xp sp2...anybody have any ideas or better luck?

I Am Wondering Why You Are Having A Hard Time With The Tools, I Have Windows Xp Pro + Service Pack 2, Installed Moto Phone Tools No Problem. You Have To Install The Software Before You Connect The Phone
Your Phone Must Be On. Click The Icon For The Application And Let It Load

I cant get it to recognize the razr either ... upgraded phone tools & still wont work

I can't seem to get it to work either. I had a silver v3 and it worked just fine, but now I have a pink v3 and it won't recognize it. I even uninstalled & reinstalled it. It's not a matter of it trying to find the "old" phone because I have a new computer as well

You must to update MPT ver 4.2.3 at least to see your V3i or i, or t. I t works good for me. If you have old version; you might need to update several times. That's the buggy part of update live. Version after version.

My CD disk got scratched while trying to retreave it from the CD drive. So is there anyone knows where I can get the phone tools software only for free?
