View Full Version : LG FUSIC 550, read my story, help me

i've had probs with the phone (LG FUSIC 550) and sprint customer service as well. The phone i had needed the latest software update, so i took it to a sprint store. i asked if they could do a print out of my phone list in case something hapd to the phone. i dont know if this is something they can do but they reassured me they would do it. 45 mins later when i was to return i found that during the attempt to update the software, my phone crashed. no print out of a phone list was made for me. so they sent me home with a new FUSIC.

now, i havent been able to receive pic mail. i called sprint, they put a "ticket" in for it and contacted me a day later telling me that it's tmobile's problem, since that is the carrier of the phone of the person who is trying to send me pic mail. my friend, who is with tmobile says that's crap since he has been able to send pic mail to other ppl. this is not the first time sprint has fed me b/s in order to get a "ticket" closed, and move on from the problem.

i have spoke with Sprint customer svc numerous times regarding several other problems and when asking if i can please have credit towards my next bill, or to speak to a supervisor, twice i have been "accidentally" disconnected.

today i spoke with corporate office and "Joe" is supposed to call me tomorrow regarding the pic mail problem. i am just not sure what to do. i want all my money back, i dont want the phone or the svc with sprint. i just want to find a phone (i am thinking of going back to tmobile becuz of better deals on minutes-yes i know they dont have as many towers as other carriers but if i never had troubles with phone and customer svc while with them) that works.

i got the fusic originally becuz i was interested in a phone/toy that i could use while bored, waiting in lines, while on break at work etc. i found it was good for that but now that i have had so many probs i am over it. WHAT CELL PHONE AND CARRIER WOULD U RECOMMEND AND WHY?

Hmm, sounds very familiar, at least where it comes to Sprint customer service. I went into my Sprint store seeking the update myself. I asked the chic behind the counter with the big giant anime eyes..she had no clue what I was talking about. "Is that an accessory for the phone to look cool?" Uh no. I asked to speak to the acting manager, its her. Yay. Because I live in a not so big of a place I would either have to drive at least two hours either way for another Sprint store. So I did the next thing I could think of, I called in but was "accidently" disconnected. They too, had no idea what the hell I was talking about. My phone thus far has been pretty reliable...but now Im getting problems with the net connectivity with it. It pops up an error 404..heh. Also its been rebooting spontaniously through out the day. Ill have it sitting on the table and it will start popping, wth is that.? If im paying for all of these extras, I better be able to use it to its full potential, you know. Oh and another nice tidbit, my bill..supposed to be oh say around $60 a month..came in the mail yesterday $133.96. As well as lasts months being $276.54..im getting severely heated.Yes, on both I called in to see what they would tell me, when I signed my contract, they had a deal going, free texting for a year, no roaming yaddy yaddy yah. So they tell me, "Oh you exceeded your texting limit, You had roaming charges" On and On and on...if it keeps up this way, itll be cheaper to pay the early cancelation fee.

yes! u totally understand what i feel. people representing sprint both on the phone and in the store seem to be clueless about most of the products they are selling!! i mean, one woman told me, in the store, after i asked her a question about my phone, "sorry none of us here have the LG Fusic so we dont know much about it" ......what the hell?? so yea. it sucks. plus half the people i get on the phone for sprint have such heavy accents i can't understand a goddamn word they're saying.

my friend recently upgraded her phone thru sprint over the phone with them. they charged her $100 for a phone that she was supposed to be $50 after the rebates...she was a little confused by that...then she gets her bill and it was $30 higher than it normally was. she and i went into the sprint store and she found out they charged her UPGRADE FEES!!! so basically she was being CHARGED TO STAY LOYAL TO SPRINT. what a bunch of crap. i'm totally over sprint.
