Hello guys, been looking for a good forum since I got a FUSIC a couple months ago. I'm having a problem. I have a ringer ID set for my wife but for some reason, when she sends me a text different tones play. When I first set here ringer ID, the tone played whenever she called or texted, but now when she texts, a different tone plays and the tone changes sometimes. It is usually a default alert tone. I can't find any setting that sets text alert IDs. Anyone else having this problem? Thanks.

If nothing other helps, you can flash your phone with new firmware.

I wish I could. I decided to take the phone in to get the software updated, but the local sprint store doesn't have any technicians and the nearest store that does is 2 hours away. They told me to call tech support and they could do it over the phone, so i call and tech support says they cant and i have to go to a store. Is there anyway to get it online and send it via USB to the phone?

:( I think you can update your phone only in a sprint store. I haven't saw any place in internet where you can download the new firmware.

I had the same problem, here's how to fix it.
Go to "messaging" in the menu
scroll down to "settings" (i think it's #9) hit OK
Once inside the sub menu scroll down to "Message Reminder" hit "Ok"
and turn off the reminder. Hopefully that works for you.

Figured it out. I had a separate folder under text messaging for messages from her. You can set a ring tone for the folder and I never did, hence the default ring tone. On also. I went to sprint to see about updating the software. The local sprint store doesn't have a technician but they said i could do it over the air if i called sprint. I called and they couldn't do it, so i'm out of luck with updating the software until i go out of town to another store that has a technician.
