After doing some web research I found at least one post saying that the new 2GB microSD cards dont work in the Samsung A920. Here's a clip:

"The phone seems to recognize the free space, reporting total card size, etc.
However, the phone doesn't seem to play all of the MP3 files on the card. After deleting starting from the first mp3 that would not play, I am left with 1GB of files...The funny thing is that all the file names from ALL of the files, even the unplayable ones, display OK. The phone even reports bit rate, and other info for every file"

Has anyone else experienced this with the 2gb cards? If this is true, then I want to double the number of songs I can fit on my 1GB card by switching from 128Kbps Mp3s to 64kbps HE-AAC files. Ive done several sound tests and the quality is actually better at half the size with the HE-AAC (better than 64kbps WMA too.)

I know the phone plays AAC files and even lists AAC+ for ringers, but DOES THIS PHONE PLAY HE-AAC (high efficiency AACs using SBR) IN THE MEDIA PLAYER? Or does it just play the garden variety the LC AAC files that are more compatible with most players?

Thanks
