FCC has approved a new mobile phone which presumably will be available from Cingular Wireless. The Samsung SGH-C207 / C207L is an entry model device and can be viewed as the successor of the x105. The 207L modification should support quad-band operation (850/900/1800/1900) while the 207 is just a dual band. The phone does not feature anything flashy – only basic features like WAP, Java, voice-recording.
Price and scheduled availability are unknown.
