V325 help.

i just returned from being out of the country for 2.5 weeks, and when i went to turn on my phone after getting back home, it has failed to turn on at all. i've checked the battery (using my brothers phone, same model) and the charger, but it wont even give the normal 'phone charging' message/icons at all.
any sugestions before i take it into a dealer/someone authorized?
