I've had this phone for a while and recently purchased the transflash card and a cable to get music on it. Whe I purchased the items I was unaware of Verizon's package. I read somewhere else that it didn't matter though. So, I downloaded the driver that was listed on the same place it said it didn't matter. I plugged it in and it recognizes it, and asks me to sync. I sync it up and add songs through windows media player then i begin the tranfer, but I starts trying to convert the first song and never gets past 0% then an error comes up and it goes to the next song where the same thing happens. Could someone help me please :) Thanks in advance.

Now it's converting; however its taken about a half hour to do 40% of one song. For the record im not sure If I said it, they're MP3 format. O yea and I have all 2.0 USB inputs, but it tells me its plugged into a USB 1 when I put it in...

Because that's all the cable supports is USB 1. Sounds like you have conflicts on your machine. Can't really advise you on how to fix this without being there personally.
It converts to WMA format, cause you can fit almost twice the amount of songs Versus MP3 format. The phone should read both though.
Is your model the VCAST Music Verison or the previous before VCAST Music. If it's older... You will need to go to a verizon store to have your software on your phone updated in order to use the kit succesfully. Because the kit was designed only for VCAST Music SCH-A950
You have the new verison of the phone already if your SKU/Model ends with WRX on your box.
That's how you'll know if you need the updated software at verizon or not.
I hope this helps.
