I've managed to successfully install the drivers for my phone via voyageur software provided by bell. However I can't get the pc-link software provided by samsung to sync with my phone, and no I don't get a com port error. Every 10 seconds or so PC-Link attemts communication with the device, but no data appears in the program. anyone got any ideas?

The PC link is only for using you phone as a connection to the internet that I know of. you cant access files from your pc other then with the transflash card or if you use blue tooth for a few things.

Don't post an answer, if you don't know what you are talking about. PC-Link has absolutely nothing to do with the internet, or web access. PC-Link is software provided by samsung for syncing data between the phone and your computer. Contacts, Messages, Scheduler, Alarms, ect......
And now I will answer my own question. PC-Link is no longer supported by samsung. Aparently they will be releasing another program specifically designed for the a9xx series of phones.

First thing the PC LINK is used to connect to the internet when your on you'r lap top if you dont have blue tooth not to trans port your MUSIC PHOTOS OR CONTACTS its to be used as a internet connection. The guy above you was correct.
Why cant people read the owners manual it tells you everything. PEople are having so called PROBS when if they read the owners manual it will tell them what to do.. Im 18 and everything that I buy that comes with a owners manual if its a bike phone comp anything I read the owners manual and Im a bike mech. and a IT for comps. I dont have anything to do with a phone but the first day i had my phone in 3 hours I knew how to make my own ring tones how to add MP3's and my contacts from my comp. because I read my onwers manual. Go do it and you'll learn something..
