Hi,

I have bought a new D900 4 days ago and now it does not even start!!!
I have not tried to change anything at all,I do not have a sd card in it.

The only thing I have done (I think!) is to press "ok/i" button for a long time with (or without, I am not sure) the power/close button.

The colourful SamsungMobile screen comes up with intervals and fades out and nothing else happens when you turn on and it does not turn off at all, you have to take out the battery.

I am, infact, fascinated with the problems it had so this was not a suprise...

When I bought the phone, sequentially, I have installed the PC Stuido 3.0 and then the usb driver then I have connected the phone, there was no problems. Bu it all failed to export my 994 contacts to my phone. it would frequently stop at random figured contact and then at a certain level it would not include any contacts at all through "manage contacts and more".

"Synchronise" directly from outlook does not even work at all.

Also some menu's were disabled from the first day, including keypad tones.

It does not accept some mp3 files as ring tones (this may be due to its file size)

The main reason I have bought this is it came with a good design with office applications, but it does not show the powerpoint presentations exactly, either some words or some pictures in the file is missing (even though there is no animations in the slides)

I will take it to the service but does any one know anything about these problems.???

or does anyone know if this is only a "Beta" version of a future equipment or not?

Thanks for everyone reading this far...

Best

About the key tones: are you sure you don't have those "theme" applied. It makes "Grey" the option for changing the wallpaper for example - same thing may be with you.
