Trouble Downloading Ringtones

I am having trouble downloading ringtones to my Samsung SPH-A660 / VI660. I am able to connect and go through the process of downloading but after this is complete, there are no new files on my phone. Is there something I'm missing?

I'm actually using another site that works well. The ringtone or wallpaper you want to send has to be on your computer. You just use this site to send a text message to your phone with the file attached and it works great. http://www.sprintusers.com/focus/

I have beening using this site http://www.funformobile.com for my Samsung SPH-A700. I am able to upload a 1.9MB MP3 to my phone. I also uploaded some pix, but not animation.

The site that you used wasnt set up properly. the webservers need to have the right file mime types set up so that they can send the correct information to mobiles etc, otherwise you get a file downloaded and your mobile can not tell what it is. you need to be careful because you could damage your handset doing this.

I have a nec a232, I ended up with this phone cuz my wireless provider then was at&t, they sold some of their sections, and I ended up with suncom, the phone i had b4 was a LG phone (loved it :thumbup: ) no probs wut so eva, but when at&t sold out to suncom, the codes wheren't compatible with my LG, and I ended up with a nec a232, I've had to send the phone back 3 times, and I'm still not satified with this phone, i hate it, it turns off when it want to, and you can't download ring tones, and then find them, u can't download pics and go back and find them, I feel cheated, why should i have to put up with a phone that SUX!!!!! i didn't ask for it, i ended up with it, I hate, hate, hate, this phone but the good news is that my contract is up in 6mos, (hope I can last that long) and it's the trash can for this sorry a** NEC a232.

I agree with you this is the worst phone ever.
The buttons are way to small
The phone turns off for no reason
The phone locks up
The battery life is a 12-15 hours
Accessories what accessories
Warranty good luck
Phone drops calls all the time
This phone is junk!

you are so right.I have a nec a232 and it really sucks.I hate that you can't download ringtones!That's about the only thing i don't like very much.Does it even last long?

Last night i downloaded a ringtone for my Nokia 2600 tracfone.. I had no problem with the first process then, it told me that i'd get instructions on how to download it on the phone i waited and waited for a text message for the directions i did'nt get them so i called and they were closed for the night , so i thought maybe thats why i'm not getting any texts so i waited today nothing again .. first of all once they send you a ringtone should'nt it already be downloaded after you select it to be your offical tone ..What should i do ? i've already argued w/ tracfone
