Hello everyone. I just bought the a990 from Verizon and was curious about how to transfer music files on the phone.
I bought a 512 microSD card with the idea of using it as a go-between between my PC and phone when transferring music files and ringtones. Unfortunately, I discovered that I could not transfer music files this way. Not only does the phone not support MP3s, but it would also not support WMA files using this method.
So, I ask 1) is there a way to get the phone to recognize MP3s/WMA files without using a USB or proprietary software and 2) would it then be possible to use MP3s/WMAs as ringtones?
