Trial period

I'm currently on Cingular but I plan switching to Sprint maybe.
My question is... how long is the trial period with sprint when you sign a 2 year contract... a friend told me it's 14 days and another one just told me it's 30 days??!

It WAS 14 days... but since June the trial period is already 30 days
