recommended mp3 bit rate

I have a SLVR and I've heard that there's some sort of a recommended bit rate for Mp3s to use with mobile phones... is it true or not ? and if what is that kbps value. thank you for the info!

it's recommended that you use 32kbps to 192kbps and which one exactly you'll use is up to you... it's a trade-off bewteen space and quality.. I'd recommend you either use 128 or 96 kbps
