I downloaded the A-900 file from the Samsung websight and ran the "setup.exe" file, then restarted. I plugged the cord into my phone and then into the USB slot. Some "found new hardware" stuff came up and it went through OK. Then I did the "connect to PC". My computer said that it needed a "USB MMC Storage" driver. I went to "select best driver...(recommended)" and put in the location as c:\windows\desktop\a-900 (the location where i put all of the files from the a-900 zip file from samsung) and it couldn't find it. I then selected the \windows\desktop\a-900\drivers and it couldn't find it. c:\windows didn't find it either.
Anyone have any suggestions or fixes? I'm trying to call the Sprint technical support line but it's saying that thye don't open until 0600 (it's fifteen minutes past, go figure) Thanks!

Samsung said that they can't help since I only have one phone line.
Things I've tried
- Uninstalling and reinstalling, five times
Turning everything on / off, five times
Disconnecting/reconnecting the MF'ing USB cord, about 300 times
Does anyone know the EXACt name of the driver?
The file /drivers/sscdbus.inf says that it is...
"; sscdbus.inf -- Install the SAMSUNG USB Composite Device drivers"
But Windows says that isn't the right file.
HELP!
DUH!!!

I'm having EXACTLY THE SAME problem on my machine running WIN 98.
I've tried everything but windows won't or can't locate the F**KING "USB MMC STORAGE" driver!!!
Win 98 happens to be a great operating system, and once I can get my hands on a FREE copy of XP only then will I choose to upgrade!!!

man, I'm getting the same message after I connect my phone to PC: "USB MMC Storage." Oh well, I'll keep messing with it. If I get it to work, I'll let you guys know.

Ive got two workstations Running Windows 2003, identical.
One station will recognize the phone fine, and mount it, the other just displayes the ? in the device manager next to the USB MMC Storage device.
None of the drivers included with the A900 Drivers from samsung will work for this device. Anyone else experience this problem on any version of windows and have a solution??
thanks gtx

I had the same problem as the rest of you...
After digging through the poor Samsung download center, I found a working link (off the product page!) that gave me the SPH-A900.zip CDMA driver download. Now, without Sprint Connection Manager (how do I get that), what is CDMA good for? Is there any other utility out there that the CDMA connection works with?
The remaining problem bothering everyone here, the MMC driver also lingered. In the end, I determined that the proper driver is the Microsoft generic USB flash drive driver. For Win98, that is found in the driver database under Storage as "1394/USB Disk". However, merely forcing the device to use the one I had in my setup didn't work. The breakthrough happened when I downloaded ud_98normal.zip from http://www.usb-drivers.com/ (DriverGuide) and told the New Hardware wizard to look in the unzipped files directory. Now, it actually liked the driver! Even better, the directory space on the phone also became available as a new drive letter, so this driver apparently works.
I guess my system has an upgraded generic USB flash drive driver, but that's good thing, isn't it?
