V170 w/TracFone

Hullo...
I've searched thru the msgs and haven't seen an answer one way or the other....can you DL ringtones from any where else besides the TracFone site?
I managed to DL a few short, *low quality* ringtones for free at One website but that's it. I don't have WAP (though the manual implies I do) and just about every site I've looked at require WAP to get their ringtones.
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. :)

Hi! I wanted to know if and how you could download ringtones and I saw your post. I would be interested to know how you did it. You are right in thinking that the manuel said you did have WAP. I called Tracfone today and asked them about it. You are going to love this! I was told although on the package it says the phone comes with downloadable ringtones and screensavers and... wallpapers that since it is through Tracfone you CAN NOT download anything and do not have a browser. I asked if I changed prepaid companies could I download then.No! Apparently Tracfone has a little something in these phones. But if you buy the phone somewhere else you Can download! Lovely, when you buy the phone for that purpose and find this out!
