Is it possible? Basically I want to use the phone (and card) as an external hard drive, and send .wav files to it to use as ringtones. Anyone know if this works?

This is what I did.... The micro memory disk goes into the transflash adapter and from there, the adapter goes into a usb digital card reader/writer. The reader/writer goes into the computer's usb port and then I transfer mp3's and photos to the external drive (reader/writer). From there I can transfer all the data from the micro disk to the phone. All of this I've just learned how to do yesterday!
I have been able to play mp3's from the SPH-A800, but I haven't been been able to use the mp3 as the ringtone which is what I thought the phone could do....
Any help or info is appreciated.
