putting songs on my sch-a950

I just got a Samsung a950 from Telus and would like to know how to put songs onto my phone. I used sync and put songs onto the card with the sd adaptor and put them into my music but when i put the transflash into the phone, it doesn't recognize them and says I have no music files. Could someone please tell me how to get songs onto this phone.....

Im having the same problem installing songs onto my Samsung A950 through telus and am not having any luck in finding information. PLEASE HELP! And telus is of no help in this matter whatsoever other than telling you to buy every song from them!

I had a pile o probs as well getting MP3s to play on my A950. What finally solved the problem was not Telus or Samsung (both of whom proved clueless), but changing the file names. It seems to have an issue with file names which include spaces (and who knows what other characters), and perhaps long file names. By eliminating spaces and reducing all file names to no more than about 12 characters, I was able to get the phone to recognize the files.

(In other news - and some of this is contradicted by stuff I've seen elsewhere - the Samsung tech who failed to solve my problem reported that it won't play WMA files or ones with a bitrate of >128. I'm not at all convinced about the trustwarthiness of this info, but thought I'd mention it in case.)
