good reception phone

Which new phone should I get to get best reception? i'm currently not on Nextel but i'll soon be. And I want to make sure i get a phone with very good rf reception and transmission, so which one u think I should get.. I mean I only care about the connection, I don't care how slick or multimedia capable the phone is.
